/ Durability Machine
The Hye Precision Model PTM golf ball testing machine measures the coefficient of restitution of the golf ball. The machine is also designed to test the durability of paint, logo, or ball construction. The machine is an automatic air cannon fitted with light gates and a chronograph to collect velocity readings. A loading and return hopper will hold at least 100 balls. A magazine feeds the balls automatically to the cannon. The ball velocity is controlled by regulating the air pressure. When a ball is fired, it is impacted against a hardened steel plate and then rebounds inside the chamber and impacts the energy absorber. When the impact energy is dissipated, the ball falls free from the chamber onto a conveyor and is returned to the hopper. If the ball breaks on impact, an automatic eject gate opens and unloads the pieces. If any pieces become obstructed, an alarm will sound and the machine will stop. The ejection gate has the capability to determine a deformed ball before complete failure and unload it if desired. |
Each machine comes complete with all electrical and pneumatic schematics. Also included is a complete operating manual that provides all aspects of preventive maintenance and recommended spares. |
